Dr. Sridhar (Sri) Veluvolu is a veterinary oncologist who graduated from PennVet in 2018. He then completed a 1-year rotating internship at University of Wisconsin-Madison followed by a 3-year medical oncology residency at University of California-Davis. He obtained his board certification in medical oncology in September 2022.
From 2022-2024, Sri was a post-doctoral fellow in Dr. Patrick Grohar’s lab at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). There, he studied how to target the oncogenic transcription factors EWS-FLI1 in Ewing sarcoma and c-MYC in osteosarcoma. In July 2024, he moved to Dr. Adam Wolpaw’s lab at CHOP to continue to study c-MYC and MYCN biology in the context of neuroblastoma.
Sri has been with Ethos Discovery since 2022 as a Pharmacology Fellow. He is a clinical oncologist with The Oncology Service consortium and contributes to the design/implementation of canine osteosarcoma clinical trials through his role with Discovery.
